Statham Lodge, Lymm, Cheshire - 20th July 2019
Taking us back to July 2019 when the lovely Kim and Carl became Husband and Wife. A little over a year later and in celebration of their first year together as Mr and Mrs, I am so grateful that they have kindly gave their permission to share their beautiful day with you.
Kim and Carl choose the elegant Statham Lodge in Lymm, Cheshire as their setting. Statham Lodge was originally a grand county house, circa 1800 set within 12 acres of grounds. It was purchased by the Walker family in 1960 and was run as a casino until the 1970’s when it became a hotel due to changes in the gaming laws. It is now a successful wedding venue which can hold over 100 weddings a year. Recently refurbished the decor is neutral in colour, mainly white and subtle grey walls which offers a wonderful blank canvas but still sympathetic to it’s original period features. The front of Statham lodge has a beautiful full length veranda (on gadrooned posts with arched braces) draped with wisteria. One thing I personally love about Statham are the huge windows which offer an abundance of natural light and a beautiful view of it’s luscious grounds.

Statham Lodge really was the perfect venue for a wedding, we had the most perfect day thanks to them and everyone involved in the run up and the day of our wedding!

Kim and Carl love to travel so naturally they chose a travel theme for their wedding stationery. They opted for a Bespoke ‘Passport’ style Wedding Invitation, Boarding Passes with tear off RSVP’s for their Evening guests, Luggage tags as place cards and a world map with all the places they have visited as their Table Plan and Table Names. Kim and Carl requested that their stationery had a luxurious feel to it and followed a colour scheme of lavender and grey.

We used luxury pearlescent card for the passport covers which shimmered in the light. Internal pages were a soft textured card and grey organza ribbon finished the spines off nicely..

Natalie really got to know us and our wedding plans to help make our ideas come to life in our wedding stationery. The invites and table plan was perfect and our guest made such lovely comments about them. Nothing we asked was too much and Natalie really made sure we had everything we wanted. 100% recommend Jellypress”.
