It’s late September and we are back at the gorgeous Delamere Manor for a romantic styled shoot. Originally planned to take place in April, it was naturally postponed due to COVID but like many of life’s obstacles, it all worked out for the best. We had a glorious late summer day where we were able to take full advantage of the venues beautiful terrace and emulate an alfresco style affair.

The Concept
I wanted to create a minimalist, modern affair but with beautiful, romantic influences. Our couple are the epitome of young love so I wanted to show both sides of their union. their soft, romantic side as well as their young, fun loving character.
The styling on the day was by the wonderful Kate of Florence & Vera Events her style is impeccable. She carefully curated delicate pieces of crockery and glassware for the tablescape and cocktail bar from Whitehouse Event Crockery which complimented the breathtaking florals of Kate at Perfect Bouquet Full of Flowers impeccably. These two ladies never fail to take my breath away with their creations. The beautiful cake was created by the lovely Fiona at Fiona Hackshall Wedding Cakes.

The Stationery
I created this suite with the minimalist modern bride in mind, who still craves a touch of romance. A modern hand-lettered and traditional serif font combination was used, soft off-white paper stock and dusty pink accents completed the look. The menus were personalised with guest name tags bound with luxurious soft blush silk ribbon.

The welcome sign was produced using frosted perspex with white printed detail. The soft frosted acrylic provides a modern yet, timeless quality. Perspex was utilised again for the Floral Table Plan Plinth. Clear perspex was used in this case to showcase the stunning floral art arrangement of Perfect Bouquet full of flowers.

Our couple was dressed by The Bridal Lounge in Cuddington and L & J Formal Hire with the Brides shoes from Manchester designer Charlotte Mills and the stunning headpiece from Glorious by Heidi Timeless jewellery was supplied by Sarah Vuong. The rings were specially selected by The Jewellers Guild, Morpeth. Something Blue by Carrie finished of the Brides look with stunning hair and MUA.
The evening look was inspired to be more dramatic, a little more relaxed and that ready to party vibe. If you didn’t know already Delamere Manor has a hidden gem, it’s own Nightclub! Incredible neon displays were provided by The Word is Love with lighting to set the mood supplied by Luminate Events. We were also fortunate to have award winning DJ Andy Murphy with us.
The whole day was captured beautifully by the wonderfully talented Gail Secker Photography, she really captures the romance with every shot.
